There aren't any full scale traditional zoos in West Sussex - not the type with giraffes, elephants, lions and tigers at any rate.The nearest zoological park to West Sussex is Marwell Zoological Park in Hampshire - just half an hour or so along the M27 motorway.

Huxley's is a Bird of Prey Centre south east of Horsham where you can meet the birds, watch them in action, learn more about what makes them tick and find out about the work being done to rehabilitate injured wild birds of prey who have been brought in by the public.
