The road to Rackham near Storrington
Rackham is a small village near Parham House, a mile or so south west of Storrington.
The village is dominated by the huge mass of the South Downs, just a kilometer away. It's a very steep climb up to the top of the Downs, but when you get there the views are breathtaking. You can see vast areas of the Sussex Weald, as well as the northern part of the Arun Valley as it wends its way past the picture postcard village of Amberley towards Bury and Pulborough.
It's a fantastic place.
