Top class polo in the height of the English summer at Cowdray Park, near Midhurst.South Ambersham and Cowdray Park are both used as polo venues and the annual Veuve Cliquot Cup is one on the highlights of the summer calendar around Midhurst.
The polo attracts large crowds, drawn by the thundering of the polo ponies' hooves and the chance to sup champagne and be seen.
