Burgess Hill Model Railway Club
Currently adding to their layouts with a planned 00 gauge railway based on the London to Brighton line.Crawley Model Engineers
Crawley Model Engineers are the brains behind the Goffs Park Light railway, which they started building in 1962.The Railway provides Public Passenger rides every Sunday afternoon from Easter to October. The ride takes about two minutes. If you would like to see the miniature railway in action, but do not want to be a passenger, then the railway is in operation at certain other times in the week; details are on the Society's website.
Crawley Model Railway Society
Very active model railway society who have 6 layouts and frequently hold exhibitions and competitions.East Grinstead Model Engineers
The Society has a portable 5 inch gauge railway which they take to events all round the East Grinstead area.Members also make all sorts of models, not just railways, and anything to do with miniature engineering is encouraged. Meetings take place each Wednesday evening.
East Grinstead Model Railway Club
East Grinstead Model Railway Club meets twice a week and has some good looking model railway layouts which are available for exhibitions.The club website has some neat photos of additional layouts created by its members too. New model railway enthusiasts are welcome.
Horsham Model Railway Club
Membership of Horsham Model Railway Club is open to anyone interested in building and running model railways or just talking trains. The Club is also an Area Group within the national network of the N Gauge Society.The members are a mix of ages, teenage to retired, male and female, whose interests include N, HO, OO, On30 and G, in British, European and American guises incorporating trains, trams and buses. The Club aims to provide an environment ffor model railway enthusiasts where ideas, help and advice can be exchanged freely.
Horsham MRC meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at Horsham Youth Centre, Hurst Road, Horsham.
Worthing Model Railway Club
Worthing Model Railway Club's meetings are every Wednesday and Thursday evening, 7.30 to 10.00 at the clubroom at The Charmandean Centre, Worthing. An exhibition is held on the second weekend in September, at Durrington High School.The Club has exhibition standard layouts in N and OO gauges and they tell West Sussex.info that new layouts are being developed, so there are opportunities to develop your modelling skills, be involved in layout building, or just play trains!
