North Street - the broad main street in MidhurstMidhurst is an affluent country town, well-known for its annual polo tournament and its association with the Cowdray Estate.
Edinburgh Square and Market Square in Midhurst are the oldest part of the town, which is one of the prettiest in West Sussex. The development of this part of Midhurst was initially catalysed by servicing the needs of the Norman Castle on St Ann's Hill, but now they form the attractive focus of modern Midhurst.
