Lavant, West Sussex - area map

Lavant is a large village two miles north of Chichester at the foot of the Trundle - the first of the South Downs to rise above the coastal plain above Chichester.

Close to Goodwood, there is a strategic gap between Lavant and Chichester which is considered essential to ensure that the village does not become a suburb of fast-expanding Chichester.
