Ice skating - where to skate
There aren't too many ice skating facilities in West Sussex - and many of the skating rinks in the county are temporary affairs - erected for the Christmas holidays or the coldest part of the winter only.
Unfortunately some of the venues which used to offer ice skating in the school holidays have now stopped doing so. Fear not - it is still possible to don your skates and take to the ice - you just might have to travel a bit.

There's generally a temporary ice rink at the Brighton Centre around the Christmas period. This co-incides with the annual Holiday on Ice show which has been performed each Christmas for decades - I remember being taken to the ice spectacular when I was a small child and that was half a lifetime ago!If you like skating a lot, you can book a season ticket which gives you discounted skating rates.
Normal rates include skate hire.
