The Fernhurst Society aims to enrich the life of the village of Fernhurst by organising a programme of local events, such as talks. Interestingly, it captures these talks on tape and preserves them in the Fernhurst Archive.Events of note include "A Day in the Life of a Bodger" and "North Ambersham in a Nutshell".
