Bognor Regis Concert Band
Bognor Regis Concert Band perform all over Bognor, both indoors and outdoors, as well as further afield from time to time.For those of you, like me, who didn't know exactly what a concert band is, the key part of the definition is that it's essentially "an orchestra where all the strings have been replaced with an enlarged Clarinet and Saxophone section."
Chichester City Band
Chichester City Band is over a hundred years old and is currently recruiting. The Band has a training programme to get new recruits up to the standard where they will fit seamlessly in with the existing line-up.Adur Concert Band
Shoreham based concert band who perform all year round all over Sussex.Lancing Brass
Lancing Brass is a lively family band on the south coast. The band has been affiliated to The Royal British Legion since its formation in 1966, proudly supporting the Poppy Fund.Lancing Brass rehearse once a week at The British Legion Club in Lancing. The band has a learner band and an Oompah Band to supplement its repertoire and has a high standard of musicians but new faces are always welcome.
The band performs at Eastbourne Bandstand, Arundel, Horsham, the London to Brighton Bike Ride and numerous indoor and outdoor concerts through the season.

The band aims to put plenty of fun into their music and have performed in Europe as well as locally here in Sussex.Petworth Town Band
The Petworth Town Band is a mixed band of brass and woodwind players and prides itself on being a friendly group of both young and older players. The band encourages all its members to enjoy playing together whatever standard they are. Some brass instruments are available for borrowing at no cost and all uniform is provided free of charge. The band play at a variety of events such as fetes, concerts, weddings, Christmas fairs and open days. It also has several marching engagements during the year including Gold Cup polo at Cowdray. Petworth Band has now also started a youth section open to any standard and any age.Slinfold Concert Band
The village of Slinfold, near Horsham is home to one of busiest bands in the area. In the summer the band performs all over the South East on public bandstands, at shows, and various other corporate and private functions. In the colder months Slinfold Concert Band gives a number of indoor concerts at various venues, although they often find themselves back outside over Christmas. The Concert Band are a friendly band and they welcome new players. They rehearse on Tuesday evenings, and currently have around forty five members.Southdowns Concert Band
30 strong concert band made up of professional and amateur musicians who perform regularly throughout Sussex.Band members must have a Grade 6 standard to join.

Mid Sussex Brass band is a 2nd Section Contesting and Performing Brass Band who rehearse in Burgess Hill, perform all over Sussex, go on tour abroad and have Youth and senior bands.Brighton & Hove City Brass
