Crawley A.C.
Top class athletics club whose members have included some pretty special athletes down the years.The club is now based at based at the K2 Leisure Centre on the outskirts of Crawley. Crawley A.C. welcomes runners of all abilities and organises Track and Field Athletics, Road Running, Cross Country, Jogging and Fun Running.
East Grinstead & District A.C.
Well established athletics club who use the Athletics Training Facility at Imberhorne School in East GrinsteadHaywards Heath Harriers
Athletics club which deserves applause for its overt non-elitist policy.What this means in practice is that all athletes have "the chance to compete in leagues on the Track, in Road races and Fun Run events at home and overseas, or just join in with the training and social running groups, which meet two or three times a week."
Haywards Heath Harriers currently have a waiting list for juniors and intermediates.
Haslemere Border Athletic Club
Based at Woolmer Hill sports club and competing in a number of mens and women's leagues.The club also organises the annual Gibbet Hill 10k multi terrain race.
Horsham Blue Star Harriers
Athletes range from 10 years old upwards and are all standards from beginner to superstar.Horsham Blue Star Harriers use the indoor and outdoor facilities at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre.
Phoenix Athletics and Triathlon Club
Based at Withdean Stadium, Brighton Phoenix is organised into seniors, juniors and a mutlisports section for Triathletes.The club has over 250 members of all standards, ranging from beginner to elite athlete.
The women's elite section is particularly strong and there is a vibrant veterans membership too.
Steyning A.C.
Steyning Athletics Club has over 150 members, their own clubhouse and welcomes race walkers of all ages, runners and triathletes.The club was also one of the first athletics clubs in the country to gain two clubmark awards. These take some earning, so the club clearly takes its junior athletics seriously.
Worthing & District Harriers
Worthing & District Harriers have over 200 members, many of whom compete at a high club level.The club site is very up to date and contains a huge amount of information about athletic events in Worthing and off-track activities too.
Brighton & Hove City Athletics Club
Large and ancient club which trains at Withdean Sports Complex and provides coaching and organised competition for Track and Field, Cross Country, Road Running and the Marathon.Athletics associations relevant to Sussex
